Lecture on the Trinity Religion

Luinitari: Ok, Trinity religion, here goes... Overlaps a bit with house history, but bear with it." "First off... anyone know who the trinity were?"

Midhir: "The Trinity Brothers?"

Luinitari nods to mid.

Luinitari: "Very good. If you've read the histories... it speaks of the trinity brethren, who were thieves, and kept themselves hidden in secrecy. That is a fallacy... it is human nature to assume bad of that which they do not understand. "The murals in the dream, if you have seen, of 3 men, and a child... are the trinity.

"But A story starts at its beginning....so shall I. In the beginning, before guilds and foci, there were dreamers. There have been since the unknown avatar, and shall be until our minds collapse.

"If you know something of tribal culture or feudalism, that was how the dream was ruled. Sections were ruled by lords and under them serfs, etc..." "one such Lord was named lets say Bahuji for our purposes his name is not important. He had 3 sons: Bajo, Medio, and Gato. They were 3 brothers, Gato the oldest, Medio the middle, and Bajo the youngest.

"now let me explain a bit of the time period. It was after the nightmare wars, and nightmares roamed the land. However since there were no foci, the tribes had Scholars and Warriors. The warriors hunted the mares and left their carcasses to rot and the scholars made arts. "The brothers had not picked their calling, and were confused as to the mares. Each felt that they were something different to deal with, and needed to be interacted with in a unique way. One felt they should be banished outside the walls to return them to their home and help the dream be free. Another felt they should be imprisoned here, so we can show them our power and keep them out of our way. And the last wanted to enslave them to our will, making them our beasts of burden."

"Now these were new ideas in the dream, and thousands of dreamers flocked to study under them and learn their beliefs. These became larger and larger and each had his own *cult*."

"And as they grew, each became arrogant, believing theirs were the right belief. From this the houses were formed, from the warring tribes. They were started when they learnt to disagree. The three saw this hatred and were saddened. This was not what they wanted. They went into seclusion for 8 months, and worked in secrecy, learning and thinking on their beliefs."

"It was rumored they wanted to get rid of what they thought... when they emerged they spoke wisely and told their followers that they were wrong. While each belief was unique, it was not the way to free the dream of the mare threat; only by working together, and combining all three, and the mysterious fourth idea they were working on could they be free...

"Each cult was taken aghast, they screamed in horror, believing their masters taken over by demons, and they slew them. Before the 4th was revealed and before they could spread their word, the cults dispersed, and formed the houses... and the brothers stronghold was left abandoned for many a year.

Then a small cult began to inhabit it. It cleaned the halls, and set up shrines throughout the dream to them in memory. Eventually it was realized that they had so much power in the books they left, and their ideals that they were honored and worshiped. "The cult grew slowly, and each member swore its fealty to the trinity, and the beliefs they lived by at the end that all the beliefs, are good unto themselves, and no one person should decide another path...but only together can they defeat the mares.

"When the great loss occurred the cult was lost in time and space, but the trinity looked on from the overlight, affecting the land 'trinity plains, walk etc..', and affecting the realms, as people remembered their great work and named rooms for them. "The religion as it soon became stayed strong, and now is beginning to rear its head as a method for salvation." Luinitari stops and takes a drink of water

Luinitari: "That's it :)"
