<@Acerbity> Greetings everyone.

<@Acerbity> I want to say a few words before we get the festivities started, you can assume that launch will take place in 30 minutes, at 1pm EDT.

<@Acerbity> I would like to thank all of your for your loyalty to Shades of Truth.

<@Acerbity> It has been a rough and rocky road, but without all of you, coming to this point would never have been a reality.

<@Acerbity> And so, on behalf of myself, and the GM team, thank you.

<@Pyramid> All right guys...

<@Pyramid> First, I also would like to thank the Shades of Truth community on behalf of the GM Staff, we have been very excited to get this project running.

<@Pyramid> Although, we have been met with some obstacles, your support and loyality has allowed for us to overcome them.

<@Pyramid> As we move forward to the next chapter in the Underlight saga, you will see a different approach to how we will operate SoT.

<@Pyramid> Our GM Staff is dedicated, and we have assembled a<@Pyramid> Well, except for Pylon.

<@Pyramid> Just kidding of course.

<@Pyramid> As you In-Game Lead, it will be both my privilege and honor to work with you as the Underlight saga continues to unfold.

<@Pyramid> From every entry of the Chronicler's and every detail of the houses, your support has given me the motivation to carry on.

<@Pyramid> Now, a few things I'd like to discuss really quickly.

<@Pyramid> One, our GM Staff will only contact you through official channels. Be it IRC, the forums, or the @shadesoftruth.net support email address..

<@Pyramid> We have set up three different email addresses.

<@Pyramid> support@shadesoftruth.net can be utilized if you should have any issue in-game, account issues, harassment problems, cheat reports, or anything else that doesn't fall into the technical/bug realm.

<@Pyramid> For bugs and technical issues, I encourage you all to use the techsupport@shadesoftruth.net

<@Pyramid> And finally, for all roleplaying ideas and submissions, please use roleplaying@shadesoftruth.net.

<@Pyramid> Rest assure that your emails are private and each address is handled only be the respective leads.

<@Pyramid> Next, I would like to discuss the second sphere promotional characters.

<@Pyramid> As you all know...

<@Pyramid> As a reward for your conitnued commitment to SoT, the Managing Director and I gave the go ahead for second sphere characters during the first 48 hours of launch.

<@Pyramid> You may ask yourself...

<@Pyramid> "How do I explain my second sphere and not knowing anyone?"

<@Pyramid> I had a few scenarios for this, but they became overly complex and borderline forcing the players into a pre-defined role.

<@Pyramid> My intention is not to stifle anyone's creativity and imagination.

<@Pyramid> With that, the official explaination for the second sphere characters goes something along the lines of this..

<@Pyramid> In the wake and aftermath of the most powerful being to ever exist in Underlight, the "god" Bashir's destruction created ripples within the City of Dreams sending shockwaves of raw energies all throughout the DreamScape.

<@Pyramid> This had two results.

<@Pyramid> The first, the nightmares, or as we now called them.. the appearance of the shards.

<@Pyramid> The second, is that same energy effecting all sleeping dreamers at the time, whom were bequeathed with a "jolt" of energy.

<@Pyramid> This resulted in their 2nd sphere state of dreamers emerging in the first forty hours.

<@Pyramid> For all intents and purposes, new characters created should have no prior knowledge of dreamers or events past save for that which is written.

<@Pyramid> The Chronicler's Entries are in-character and 'visible' within the Library of Idoaclese "formerly the Library of Souls"

<@Pyramid> Now, for returning dreamers...

<@Pyramid> I give you creative liberty to define your own roles in the City of Dreams.

<@Pyramid> This has never happened before in any version of Underlight. This is an experiment, please remember to keep everything consistent and believable.

<@Pyramid> For all intents and purposes, your character may have been there but obviously, he or she took no dominant role in the events itself.

<@Pyramid> If you have any questions, feel free to email me at roleplaying@

<@Pyramid> And finally...

<@Pyramid> Please remember that the Three Rules of Underlight apply at all times.

<@Pyramid> Thank you all, we will give you the cue to log in shortly. Please do not try to log in now.

<@Pyramid> And we may have a few more surprises for you throughout the day.

<@Pyramid> That is all.
