===History===

The [[Bastion of the Covenant]] was not a traditional 'House'.
It was a communal place where guilds could seek refuge, get established and further their goals.
To be allowed entrance into the Bastion, a guild had to be formed and set up per Leonard's rules. If they did  or didn't have a locale of their own, the Bastion provided the members of the Guild a communal space to meet, organize, hold events and  seek aid from other guilds.
The 'leader' of the Guild was crested as Ruler, and the Ruler (and the guild members) decided who would be crested as Guardian, but the ratio was based on how many members the guild has in it deciding how many Guardians would be crested. This is to allow the members of the guild to have access to Guardian arts.
The Coalition of the Bastion was the ranked members of the guild. The Coalition would meet and decide any issues, settle any disputes and make any general decisions that a tradition house would face.

===Bastion Bustles===

Since [[The Chosen]] have been established, we have taken up the past duties from the [[Council of Wardens]], circa Idoaclesia. Being an original member and former Ruler of the house, I refuse to slack off on my responsibilities to guard this land. It is a dangerous and sensitive area that must be constantly maintained. If the integrity is corrupted from outside and knowledgeable sources, the very walls and bars that contain the prisoners will crumble. Our sovereignty over the plane is for the safety of the City at large. As a reminder, I urge everyone to keep out of the Palisade unless invited or escorted by [[The Chosen]] or another Bastion member.

As many are aware, the Chosen built a shrine in [[Lower Basin of Stars]] that has since been destroyed and transformed into the likeness of the [[Mace of Castigation]] by [[House Calenture]]. The purpose of this shrine was to draw small amounts from the plane's positive energy to reinforce the [[Palisade]] and maintain a stable environment. With the approval of the open houses, I'd like to plant one on each inner plane eventually.

A few months back, the Bastion as a whole -along with the aid of Arnaya- developed and installed a sensor pad in the Palisade, with a tracker leading to our Stronghold. This was designed to extend our portalbell's reach, so that we could sense any activity entering the plane. More will need to be done on this project in the near future as it is not yet complete, but it is not the Chosen's primary concern.

On 6/7/18, the Bastion successfully contained all 32 eggs from Picco's nest in the [[Palisade]]. They have been imprisoned in reverse incubators to keep them constantly cool. By imprisoning them, we have converted their negative output of energy into positive. This keeps them from hatching, but also does not harm them. They will later be implanted inside the Revenants as a living power source to maintain the direction we are guiding them in.

Finally, our current project is to transform the [[Revenant]]s into [[Palisade]] Guards. This will breed purpose in their actions and calm their chaotic nature. They will be an extension of our house and recognize our authority. On 9/26/18, the Bastion gathered at the Ring of Passage with Nmoto, Apothos, Em'et, and later Gorgunsun and Aphrael. Using the Anvil, we forged 6 guard crests for each [[Revenant]].
