Masters of the dream, the Great Houses Eight,
Lords of the Soul, Will, Insight and Fate.
Know we nothing of what comes through the Gate?
Then hear now my tale, lest it come late.

Dreamers of Light, House Calenture,
The first of the Great Houses, a great power lure.
Banishment, Imprisonment, Polar opposites for sure,
Wars continuing onward, of which all had to endure.

Of Valourin and Tolket, the first of the lords,
The songs of battle, I still hear their chords.
FateSlayer and DreamBlade, the crash of the swords.
The war raged on behind the might of their hordes.

The Radiance, the Moon, ancient of homes,
Smaller than their Elders, but an old tale still known.
Swazette and Kia, a rivalry old sewn,
Now both have departed for realms of their own.

The house of peace, the house of the Alliance,
Through actions without malice, they showed their defiance,
To learn of the dream, without need of violence,
Chaos here shows order, a most strange dalliance.

The Covenant of the Dream, the Union of the Soul,
Drain the Chaos Away! Allow Order to be whole!
Fight with strength and honor, with courage untold,
Until the last of our dreamsoul, drips down the great hole.

The warrior diplomats, Gathering of the Entranced,
Peaceful by nature, until the swords come to dance,
All in all an enigma, a most strange romance,
Enlightened Cleansers are here, and we make now our stance.

The lost house of the Shadow, Keepers of the past,
With sinister mystery, the die of intrigue is cast,
Of Dark Desire or Honor, a destiny so vast
When it opens once more, 8 again there'll be at last.

So harken young dreamer take this story to sight,
And learn more of the Eight Houses for the City of Underlight!
