The Troll, The Bridge and the Pie

Last Night a peculiar Dreamer named Dirty Dwight crashed into the end of the Free Spirit meeting. He was carrying a pack over-flowing with objects, some just as peculiar as the Dreamer.
After listening to his incredible tale that he had discovered some objects of interest in the Basin, Nmoto and I decided to explore for anything of note.

As we came to the Lower Basin River, just past the bridge, we saw a Sapphire Gem stuck on the ground next to the water.
Noting how peculiar this was, we decided to try and dig it up. However as we where digging, we never expected the Gem to open an eye shout "WHADDYA THINK YA DOIN." The Gem then decided to uncover itself on its own!

What we originally thought to be a Gem, was indeed the head of a blue-skinned cyclops that had a number of sapphires growing out from his skull.

After convincing him that we weren't going to steal his Bridge he said
“Me Brisket. Brisket cook for trolls, best cook. ONLY COOK.
If ya want cross my bridge, then you bring food. ANY FOOD.
If ya steal from Brisket, then ya no be happy. Maybe ya end up as food! FOOD.”.

After asking a few questions, we learned that those who stole from Brisket would be cursed.
This made me suspicious of something and I asked if there was a Thief with a very large bag that stole from him.
"Yes. YES. Stole from Brisket. Maybe stole from other trolls too." he replied.

With the other Trolls being mentioned again and Brisket not wanting to answer much more, Nmoto and I started thinking about what food we would bring to pass the Bridge.
That is when Grunzel and Zahra Haqi joined us.

After hearing a summary of the situation, Zahra pulled out a fresh whole pie from her pack. Seeing the food, Brisket asked Zahra to bring the pie to him
Handing it to Brisket, Zahra watched as Brisket set it down on the ground, and promptly began butchering the pie, seemingly searching for bones in it. He made a horrible mess of Zahra's fine fruit pie.

"Is no meat here! Trick?." he asked Zahra as he slammed his fists on the ground smashing the pie.
Seemingly shocked at the devastation brought upon the pie Zahra answered "No, its a sweet pie."
"Brisket cook food. Trick pie is no food. NO FOOD." Brisket stated

Seeing this gave me the idea that perhaps an Emphant would count as food for Brisket, so I did a quick trip to hunt one down and bring it back to Brisket.
Upon returning and entering the room, Emphant's corpse in hand, my eyes met Brisket's eye, which then quickly turned to the essence, right before bellowing, "Bring here!"
He placed the Corpse on the ground and sank his hands into its chest pulling apart it's ribs, bits of the Emphant splattering all around, as he pulled out the heart, kidneys and liver eating them with gusto.

As Grunzel was wiping some blood spatter off his face, Brisket said "Ya can pass."
