The fourth attempt at communing with Anelinde was interrupted, by Eldryck. With this fifth attempt we wanted to reach Goril himself. The following is the encounter:
Sadara taps her tuning fork against the ground as the harmonics of the fork create a dull sound that becomes brighter, she says softly, "Hello Goril."
Mandus takes a seat, elbows resting on his bent knees. "Hello, Goril."
Alice says, "Hello, Goril"
Zahra Haqi whispers "Hello Goril"
Avery mutters something under her breath.
Hrrum shievers and speaks "Hello Goril" and looks around
The clear image of a female comes into view, hovering near Sadara.
Sadara looks to the figure and clears her throat, she smiles warmly and nods, "Hello, Anelinde?"
"Hello." | |||
Sadara says, "Anelinde, its good to see you once again. We have brought friends here and we wanted to talk with you. And if its possible talk with your father if he is around?"
The figure slowly moves about the room. A cold, but not uncomfortable chill seeps through the portals.
"He is here. Somewhere. He is angry."
A loud, booming voice echoes through the room. GET OUT.
GET OUT!! | |||
The figure moves toward Mandus and hovers behind him.
The loud voice continues. LET. US. BE.
Sadara says, "Goril, we know why you are angry. Why you are so brokenhearted."
Alice watches the feminine apparition behind Mandus.
A dark mass forms over the candles, swirling like a heatwave, coming in and out of focus.
The dark mass forms into a male figure, who then slumps in defeat. His body is wracked with loud, anguished sobs.
Sadara speaks softly and calmly, "Goril... do not be angry. Things can sometimes... happen out of our control."
"My fault," he sobs. "It is all.... my fault."
Sadara extends her hand out toward the dark figure a bright plum aura glowing brightly, attempting to coat the darkness as she speaks, "Goril... if I can ask what was your wife's name?"
The male figure howls in anguish and then disappears, leaving nothing but icy chill in his wake.
Sadara sighs out in sadness as she just nods and pulls back looking toward Anelinde behind Mandus and smiling reasuringly.
Alice hangs her head very slowly. Then she looks to Anelinde.
Mandus shivers for a brief moment and looks over his shoulder to the feminine figure, "Would you, perhaps, wish to tell us your mother's name?"
Hrrum looks around the room looking for a frigile siluette, openly for her to notice, hides a few elements and alterors inside the cave cracks
Anelinde moves over to the center of the room.
The female figure speaks sadly. "He doesn't like to talk about her. Nobody does. It's too sad."
Sadara nods gently to Anelinde, "Its understandable. However... if we knew her name, we might be able to contact her."
Anelinde moves over toward Alice. "You understand me, don't you?"
Alice blinks, then goes wide-eyed, looking at the apparition. She slowly starts to nod and says, "... I'm a prisoner too."
Anelinde continues hovering near Alice. "What are you a prisoner of?"
Alice fidgets, looking at her hands. Then she looks back to the apparition. She says, "A small room. Little bigger than this one. I was shut away there by my father and mother. But not because they loved me."
Andelinde appears saddened. "Not unlike myself, then. Except, too much love can kill you."
Alice says, "It's true... there can be little difference between too much and none at all. But... if he loves you, he may still be convinced. Especially if he sees he's hurting you."
Anelinde turns to the rest of the dreamers, but remains hovering near Alice.
Hrrum lowers himself from the ceiling before Andelinde" If you cant leave this place, maybe we could bring wonders of outside world for you to experience. Would you like that?
Sadara listens on and nods sadly as her expression changes into a very deep sympthetic one. She looks to Hrrum and smiles lightly hearing him.
"Keep trying with my father. I think he will break soon."
Anelinde remains standing next to Alice. "I wonder how you can free me from here."
Mandus points to the portal, "One day, the bond will be broken, and you will walk out."
Alice says, "If he's holding you, then we'll make him let you go. If it's something else, then... we'll... we'll solve that, instead."
"Maybe his guilt holds me here. Absolve him of it? Perhaps. He is even angry when he tries to communicate with me."
Alice says, "Will you please tell us your mother's name? I know it's sad, but... maybe SHE would absolve him. Tell him that it wasn't his fault."
Anelinde lets out a soft, sad sigh. "She cannot be contacted. Her connection to the dreamstate was permanently severed."
Icarus says, "We have fixed that in the past."
Anelinde shrugs softly to Icarus and wanders back over to Alice, standing directly next to her.
Alice reaches up her inky hand, as if offering to hold hands.
Anelinde reaches forward as if to touch Alice's hand. "Having friends is nice."
With a few more moments thinking and contemplating we left, having a scent of wildflowers in our mind. Mandus mentioned she is getting stronger, gaining more corporeal features. We will continue to attempt in freeing her, and releasing Goril as well. -{S}

Place: Lower Cairn, Anelinde's Prison
Time: REDACTED | |||
The 6th séance commenced with the aid of Duck, Drizzt Do'Urden, Lethea, Vitus, and Agatha Hogbone. After a quick briefing of events taken place prior, we all proceeded to the room. The following is the encounter:
Sadara softly and gently speaks once again, "Hello? Anelinde? Goril?"
A cold wind blows through the room and settles
The shadows of the room grow darker as soft whispers fill the room to low to understand
Sadara looks to the portal and then back to the candle with a warm and stoic expression. She smiles lightly and looks around the room, "Goril... I can sense you are here... would you be willing to talk now?"
A the shadows come to the middle where the candle is and starts to form the shape of a young woman the look of fear on his face as she whispers "Father no!"
Sadara squints lightly and then looks to the form, "Anelinde... goodness I didnt expect you. How are you? Is your father around?"
Drizzt Do'Urden almost steps out the circle of salt to help the woman then checks himself
The female figure moves quickly to Sadara "You have to go he's coming and he's upset"
Lethea looks to Drizzt with a bit of alarm but settles back
Sadara looks over Anelinde, with a concern. She shakes her head, "Do not fear my dear. We've come to speak with Goril once more. I know he is upset... let him arrive. We will speak with him."
Duck blinks and watches carefully
Sadara says, "Maybe this time he will listen."
The form of the female fades and dissipates as darkness is brought to the room
Sadara reaches out for Anelinde and gently looks toward the portal, she speaks gently, "Goril...?"
A dark form swirls around the candle as the room grows warmer the form of a male appears and goes quickly to Sadara screaming at her "WHY DO YOU COME BACK!?! LEAVE NOW!"
Lethea stiffens and bites her tongue, lacing her fingers together
Sadara breathes in and out gently, as she looks to the figure with a warm and concerned expression, "Goril... you recall what I told you the last time? We know why you are really angry."
The shadow forms into a Male figure and moves to each of those here chilling each as he passes
Drizzt Do'Urden holds back, but calls Resilience to his fingers in the form of Banish Essense
Lethea watches the shadow move with a bit of curiosity
The form moves to the middle in the candle and falls to his knees and sobs loudly, "Why do you keep reminding me of my pain.... why can't you just leave us"
Sadara sighs out as she feels the pain emit from Goril, she leans forward and reaches her hand toward him. "Goril... we are here not to hurt you. We are here because we care."
Drizzt Do'Urden lets the Resilience fall from his hands to prove point
Lethea takes a deep breath and lets go of her anger in solidarity with Sadara's words
The figure cries out "But it's my fault... I wasn't there to save her"
Sadara says, "You are here now... and still pained. Your daughter longs to see her father let go of the pain. And so do we. We wish to help in that process. It wont be easy... I know. However are you willing?"
The figure looks up quickly "I can't let her get hurt! I have to protect her here. I will not let her go!"
Sadara speaks softly to Goril, "Goril you have to let her go. As much as you want to protect her... you have to let her go. To let her grow. To let her be the woman she wants to be. For her to be happy."
The shadow stands his head slumped down whispering "And she will fall to the same fate as her mother. I won't be there to save her"
Drizzts says, "Goril, from one father to another, the hardest thing we have to do is let our children go, my daughters stands just there. If I had held her back and protected her she would not be a Guardian of the Alliance, or Captain of the city guard. Sometimes we have to stand back and let them make their own mistakes, help them when can, hold them when they need it."
Lethea looks to Drizzt with a smile and nods, "Goril, I am a daddys girl and always have been. If he had not let me go I would not have lead my own squad to victory on the battlefield. I still talk to him every day and let him know how much his strong little girl loves him and the lessons he let me learn."
The dark figure moves quickly to Drizzt Do'Urden and exclaims "You didn't have a wife die where you couldn't protect her! I will not let that happen to my daughter!"
Drizzt says, "You are wrong! I did, I failed my first wife and lost her and our child. Something that always will haunt me but still I let Duck go, so she can make her own way."
Sadara nods gently to Drizzt solemnly as she listens on.
Lethea looks between Drizzt and Duck with a smile on her lips
Duck looks at her father and nods
Drizzt says, "We all have pain, holding it makes it grow, sharing it lessens it, and finally coming to terms with it frees us."
A darkness fades in and out as he paces around the circle "I can not chance it. I could never live with myself"
Drizzt says, "It is time to come to terms with yours. Goril, I am a Soulmaster, like Sadara, our role is to heal. Share your pain with me, set yourself free."
Drizzt Do'Urden extends his hand to the shadow.
A dark blast of shadows push dirt around the room as he screams "I can't!"
Lethea holds her hands together over her eyes, "Goril, how long has it been since you saw your daughter smile?"
Drizzt says, "Correction, you can, you just don't want too."
Agatha Deadbone picks dirt out of hair and laughs.
The flame in the center flairs brightly as the figure turns into shadows centered on the candle the fire erupts as winds fill the room.

Entity Name: Anelinde
Place: Lower Carin, Anelinde's Prison
The following is the third attempt at contact with Anelinde. This attempt included measures to prevent Goril from intruding the conversation as was a concern on the second attempt. In this attempt Coraal, Elmer, Icarus, Avery, Stormy Edwards, and Mandus were present:
Sadara softly speaks, "Hello Anelinde."
Faint sounds of whispers can be heard from all corners of the room.
Sadara soflty speaks once again, "Anelinde, we have returned to speak with you once again."
The whispers grow louder, unintelligible.
A faint shadow appears in front of the portal, wavering in and out of visibility.
One by one, each candle snuffs out.
Mandus grits his teeth and attempts to reignite the candles. Each ignition lasting for less than a second before the smoke curls from the wick.
The shadow moves to the middle of the room, in the center of the candle circle.
Coraal's head raises slightly, his eyes on the shadow within the circle
The shadow becomes more visible; it is clearly feminine.
Avery tucks her candle back in her backpack quietly, observing
Elmer smiles...whispers.."hello?"
The shadow hovers above the candles. "What do you want from me?"
Sadara says, "Anelinde, we do not want anything. We only wish to speak with you. And give you company."
The shadow speaks, her voice barely audible. "He doesn't want me to have friends."
Sadara nods gently as she listens closely, "I know... he may not want you to. And im sorry. We are here for you however. Is he... around?"
Avery looks at Mandus and then at the portal uncertainly
"He is always around."
Sadara looks to the portal out the corner of her eye and then back to the shadow with a warm expression. "Good to know. I hope that the gifts we brought you... got to you?"
The shadow moves near Sadara. "Yes."
Sadara shifts her gaze to the portal and smiles warmly to the shadow, "Im glad. Did you need anything that we could help with?"
The shadow's voice takes a mournful tone. "Let me out."
Sadara says, "I believe we might have something that can help."
Mandus nods to Sadara and then looks up to the Spirit, "The bond between you and your tormentor must be broken first, spirit."
Mandus draws out a piece of parchment from his coat and sets it gently on the ground near the shadow, "If you touch this, and your father touches this... we may be able to break the bond between you and free you."
The shadow moves back toward the center of the room.
Another set of whispers echoes across the room.
Sadara looks to Avery and then to the portal, she stands up and takes out her bag of salt, sprinkling a line in front of the portal.
The whispers fade just as soon as they began.
Avery stage whispers, "Keep an eye on that portal, eh."
Sadara nods to Avery and looks back to the shadow.
Mandus nods to Avery
The shadow hovers over the parchment.
The shadow takes on a more visible figure, the outlines of her avatar can now be seen. "What will this do?"
Mandus says, "Unless you have... a trinket, a necklace, any sort of gift your tormentor has given you over the years... Touching the parchment will leave an impression. It will take time to get him to do the same, but... Steps will have been taken."
The shadow appears to reach down and touch the parchment with a single finger. "I have nothing to lose."
Mandus nods firmly, "Thank you, Spirit."
The shadow hovers back around the center of the room, her avatar coming more into view. "Thank you for helping me."
Mandus nods to the Shadow, "What can you tell us about your tormentor? What is his relationship to you?"
The shadow stands on the ground, her feet firmly planted. "He is my father."
An angry legion of dark whispers echoes across the room.
Anelinde backs up a few steps. "Don't let him come in here."
The whispers come together to form a deep, angry voice. "LEAVE US."
Mandus takes a deep breath and infuses the salt with lucidity, spreading it over the portal.
The whispers vanish as suddenly as they arrived.
Anelinde slumps over, appearing defeated. "Please get me out of here."
Anelinde paces back and forth across the room. "He didn't want anything to happen to me. Bird, gilded cage."
"He wasn't so much a tormentor, as a guard keeping me prisoner. It was so lonely. So utterly lonely."
Coraal nods and looks at the shadow of Anelinde, his voice warm and gentle, "Sweet child, do you know what binds your father to this place, that he desires to keep you with him?"
"He didn't want me to die, like my mother did. Isn't that ironic."
Coraal nods at the shadow, then speaks again, "The avoidance of death is a fear many share, aye. Would the acceptance of fact help to losen his own torment, and perhaps set the both of you free?"
Anelinde paces over in front of Coraal, stopping before him. "Maybe."
Mandus leans and whispers loud enough to be heard by all, "I believe Coraal's plan will be better for the both of them. My plan would be somewhat violent, and while I think it would work, it should be relegated to our back-up plan."
Coraal nods again, offering a gentle, calm smile. "Sweet child, you both suffer greatly. One in the tormented grip of fear, the other held fast by that same torment. Perhaps he can be made to understand this"
Anelinde continues her pacing back and forth, stopping briefly before each dreamer. "Please... set me free."
The dark whispers echo again, bouncing off the walls of the room.
Anelinde freezes mid-pace. "I.... I have to go." And she vanishes, leaving a fine mist in her wake.
The dark whispers come together again. "Do not meddle."
A large, dark shadow passes through the room and vanishes, leaving an air of misery.
With that we took our leave after a brief goodbye to Anelinde. -{S} The Matronette Protector of the Conclave The Restorator -{S}

The shadow forms into a Male figure and moves to each of those here chilling each as he passes

And with Goril's frustration, we left to let him digest what was said. We hope to speak with him once again and see what he has thought. -{S}
