===Plateau Effect===

The art of FlameRuin was one of the late DreamSmith Balthus' most erratic works. Originally intended to create a small spark (for lighting the pipes he was most fond of) he accidentally created a raging ball of flame, which promptly burnt off what little hair he had. Not to be deterred by the numerous jests and laughter, the master worked day and night in his study, slowly refining the flame to become what it is today, concentrated and ranged. It is rumored he was able to burn 5 senior DreamWrights hair off before escaping, laughing madly. He also later shared his research with his good friend Tenrik, who went on to develop FlameSear.
