A very brief history

Early Dreams and the Crusade

Arlyana Jax began her dreams as an Illuminate, believing that the City had a direct effect on the waking world and at the nightmares contained the souls of the unawakened and needed to be saved from their torment. Virgil Ruomo educated her in the ways of the Crusade (the beliefs of the Protectors of the Radiance) At some point her beliefs on the Dream changed, to those of the FreeSouls. She spent some time as a FreeSpirit, finding that she much prefered to spend dreams within a house and family.

House Calenture

Remaining true to her roots,she stayed a banisher, entering the halls of Calenture. "I cannot recall much of what happened during my time there, only that when the house was closed, I felt a sense of relief." Again she was uncrested, eventually finding a home with the Order of the Sable Moon.

Order of the Sable Moon

Master FateSender Teacher Samarina took over Arlyana's mentoring and assisted her in the acquisition of a DreamSeer halo. This was also the only time within her dreams that Arlyana was crested as a Guardian. During the war with the Keepers of the Eternal Shadow, Arlyana felt a kinship with the enemy and their relationships with the Datoke and Katoke. While the Order could have friendship with them, the Shadow had something more.

Keepers of the Eternal Shadow

This was Arlyana's last home within the City. While she felt a long forgotten peace, this time was not with regrets. She was instrumental in the destruction of the Entrancement Stone (prime of the Gathering of the Entranced), playing the part of Insight in the Entrancement Stone Ritual. Shortly after this event, the Datoke invaded the house and claimed it for their own. After this Arlyana lost faith in dreaming and departed the City.

Return

Arlyana Jax has recently returned to the City. Who knows what her dreams will hold this time around.
