Zar'Tenya began her dreams during the time of Idoaclese.  She recalls him heralding a time of peace and enlightenment with his exploration and sharing of knowledge he found in dusty tomes.  His quarters were at the stronghold of the Sect of the Prudent and maintained by Igteus, his personal servant.  Upon the murder of Idoaclese chaos erupted throughout the city and Igteus took the Sect.  Campaigns were organized by Igteus to quell the unruly populations.  To combat this a groups of freedom fighters, rebels, fought against Igteus and the Sect, Zar'Tenya and Gharod among them.  A decade of dreams full of battles between the Sect and rebels followed.  Soon the ranks of both were replenished as new dreamers began to pour into the city.  The Sect still held the upper hand as they possessed a stronghold, the rebels did not.  The rebels chose the stronghold at the top of the Trinities.  The search began for the pieces of a tablet rumoured to have survived the centuries of stagnation.  Zar'Tenya was able to combine the pieces and with the help of Gharod and others, they concentrated their efforts into reclaiming the stronghold.  This was the birth of the Emancipators of Men.  Zar'Tenya was being plotted against by Igteus and his henchmen.  During a battle in Threshold Pits, Igteus hatched his plan to rid the city of her forever.  It must be noted that Igteus did not possess the Fel art of DreamStrike, but that did not stop his goal of trying to kill her.

Shortly after Zar'Tenya returned to the city and joined the ranks of the Eternal Order, I gave into my curious nature and asked her about her history. This is her story.

A ward trap was set and Igteus struck her with a powerful talisman, the Mace of Castigation. Her avatar was poisoned and greatly weakened, Igteus and his followers left her for dead. With the use of a powerful cloak, Zar'Tenya vanished while the Emancipated searched for her and fought the Sect relentlessly over her perceived murder.

As the poison took its course through her avatar, she retreated to the mountain of Illapse and the stronghold atop it. It was at this point that she was stricken with madness. Her laughter could be heard down the mountain and drew a crowd to the stronghold. Any who neared her were struck, even the city's finest could not best her. Delosian, in professing his love for her restored her sanity and she DreamStruck him. She still wonders if she did such out of mercy or revenge. Such action was the first time the citizens of the city witnessed a Strike in progress. Zar'Tenya severed her ties with the Emancipators, who hunted her down, only to return collapsed. Gharod challenged her and lost, he was Struck for his failure and weakness. All of the factions hunted her now, she reveled in the solitude. Naphtali pursued her for a trial, which she stood, though nothing came to pass. It was at this time she vanished.

When she returned, it was a a Cloaked Figure watching the birth and evolution of the Eternal Order. She states that "it has evolved into something unique, something I have known all my dreams." Volnox was seen as a hindrance to the Order, whom she dispatched upon her formal return. She holds the belief that "all things must evolve or perish. If one is incapable of change and clings to old ideas, they must be relieved.

Until recently she served the Eternal Order as their Imperator, before returning to the Crimson Continuum.
