House of War, Flora of Night

On the steps toward House Calenture, a newly awakened dreamer made the trek, trying to learn more of the House of War. Strangely enough on the path there, he found petals on the steps on the way up.

He took one of those petals, and looked strangely as they changed color and shape, wondering what sort of flora could do that?

Shaking his head, the stuck the petal in his cloak of white cotton and went through the portal to House Calenture.

As his avatar re coalesced, he saw the red bricks of essence, linked with what appeared to be blue crystal, making the edifice that was House Calenture. The dark skies above almost seemed to shimmer... as if it was there, yet not there at the same time.

There was a stillness in the air. For House Calenture, this was very alien from all the stories he was told in threshold, that it was a hotbed of activity for warriors. More so... the breeze he felt... the breeze itself alien, carried some more of those strange petals, like the one he picked up outside. He was disconcerted about the situation.

More strange was the fact that there was a ghost like image of a girl all in chalk with rainbow luminescence around her. She seemed to giggle silently and motioned him inside.

Blinking at the sight... he went right inside.

What he didn't know is that Calenture was not empty, just in meeting. And as he entered the hall, he was promptly collapsed.

As he exited the house as a soulsphere the phantasmal girl silently laughed, then transformed into a horron, chuckling evilly. The horron left and spread out those same rainbow glowing petals as it exited.

The petals transformed into petals... of black lotus... then into piles of dark goo, then vanished.
