Tremil is an island country consisting of six provinces: Thorn, Dorset, Kelm, Geld, Sahdle, and Lisle. The shape of Tremil appears as a closed fist of the right hand with the thumb slightly extended. Ocean waters stretch some fifty leagues from the coastline coming to a turbulent end where it collides with the Boundary Mists.

Each province provides the needs for all of the peoples of Tremil. Geld, along the western peninsula is dominated by the Geldhold mountain range. From these towering peaks, various sorts of ores are mined to provide the metal needs of Tremil.

The sandy reaches of Kelm in the Southwest are most famous for its wondrous beaches. From this province the glassmakers use the white sands in their kilns, bringing forth not only glass for common use, but also the finest works of glass art.

From Kelm, travelling east, rising in elevation is the luxuriant farmlands of Dorset, the breadbasket of the great nation of Tremil. It is here the country produces its bounty.

Following counter-clockwise around the country, Lisle is found in the Northeast. Lisle is dominated by forest, the home of the lumber industry. Strict laws about clear cutting, and the respect of nature allows this province to thrive, and to always remain green. Not once, has there been a shortage of lumber, or lack of trees to harvest.

Sahdle, to the Northwest, is the home to all those who work the sea to provide for Tremil. No where else in all of the Aranth Ocean is the bounty more plentiful.

Thorne, the capital of Tremil dominates the center west of the country. Bordered by all provinces, it is here that all are administered to for the benefit of the people. Sitting upon the banks of Lake Thorne is Castle Thorne, home of the King and headquarters to the business of running a small country. Lake Thorne receives its waters from the mountain of Geld. Its tributaries weaving throughout all the provinces.
