Picco laid a large amount of eggs throughout the city and most of them were destroyed by dreamers, but the Spika egg was one of the last eggs to survive.
It was an egg that was nested up at the Alliance of the Eclipse and Elmer was one of the caretakers over the egg.
He sat on it when Picco wasn't around to keep it warm.
Once ]]Spika]] was born, she went on to join the Alliance of the Eclipse because she was safe there, and had been kept safe the entire time she was nesting.
