The Eyes
In darkness they wander, Cold, Alone, Defenseless, With firm resolve.
They seek a light that is not theirs to have, Or to touch, Or to feel, It is out of their grasp.
Yet they persist nonetheless, With acts of bravery, Cowardice, Heroics, Villainy.
Are these crusaders for our lands, Newest evils to be vanquished, Or do they wander blind, truly unseeing?
Are they visionaries with lucid eyes, Or are they looking through eyes of madness?
When you look into the eye of Evernight, Rest assured, it peers back at you, Around you, Through you.
Eternal is the eye of Horron, Be sure not to gaze back too long.
