Ra'as
Ra'as is a Fatesender teacher, and dreamer of Underlight. He is known as the "First Chosen of Bashir", and dedicated high priest to the deity.
Ra'as assembled the first faithful to Bashir in the Edgeward barrows. There, the faithful burned the sky and caused the waters to turn red as blood. Under attack from both the Emancipators of Men and the Sect of the prudent, Ra'as brokered a deal with the Dreamstrike Master, Zar'tenya - She would have Bashir's blessing and the protection of the Cult. In exchange, she gifted the First Chosen the dark art. In subsequent battles, Ra'as used the art to strike multiple dreamers.
It was during this war that Bashir manifested as a powerful, nigh invulnerable avatar. The avatar was eventually shattered by Kira Windveil, using the Blade of All. The shattering of Bashir's avatar is now known as the "Great One's Gift", amongst adherents of the Chosen.
Eventually, Ra'as lost his soul essence in battle. The Dreamer Cuero acquired it, and smashed it - Bringing a long end to the fatesender's dreams. The Cult of Bashir was subsequently led by Anyasha, the Second Chosen, and the remaining members of the Triad.
Through miracle or magics, Ra'as was returned to Underlight years later, his avatar coalescing on the Dark Mountain within the Valley of Totality. By this time, the Cult of Bashir had all but gone extinct.
Ra'as, along with Trisha Pawm and others, reclaimed the Barrows with a new group known as the Council of Wardens - Their mission was to keep watch over the Palisade. During this time, the Council discovered other "deities", powerful manifestations they called wraiths. Most notable amongst these was Amaranthine.
Ra'as joined in the battle against The Dominion, wielding the Chaos Tooth in battle against The Dominion's demon.
He returned to Underlight some years later, after the merging, where he has again begun to assemble a following to Bashir, known as The Chosen.
