The Starter Guide
This guide will walk you through the essentials:
- Important information about the game
- Creating a KoiWare Account login
- Creating your first Underlight Character in addition to the login credentials for that character.
NOTE: It is important to make the distinction that the KoiWare Account credentials is only for login purposes at web portal, and not to be used as the login for the Underlight client. Separate login credentials are required via the Character Creation process AFTER you have created the KoiWare Account. Each character you create, including your player nightmare character, will have its own login credentials.
Understanding Underlight
- Review Terms of Service: https://underlight.com/terms-of-service/
- Abide by The Three Rules of Underlight and you will do just fine!
- WARNING: If the player's intent is to troll or harass the Underlight Community, the player will be terminated and blocked from our servers. This includes entering the dream with obscene character names that are offensive to others.
- Learn the controls. Afterall, if a dreamer cannot pass through portals or attack nightmares (NPC monsters), their dreams will be limited!
- Remember, once you enter the game, you are in a dream. There is no mention of the real world and players are actively role-playing their characters.
- Become familiar with the basics and role-playing. It is highly recommended that one reads the Dreamer's Manual and begin thinking of a persona that fits your role-play!
