The History of Ivana

I come from a long line of fatesenders... My family has many high ranking fatesenders and the like. In the land from where I am from, rulers were not honorable...and positions could be bought and sold and advancements were given to dreamers who did not deserve them.

The ruler of this land was that way... he loathed all dreamers. He was cruel and cunning...

In my family, females were watched at birth to see what their focus was... and when it was revealed, they were sent away to an elder for training. Since I was not FS like my mother and father, I was sent away at birth to an elder who would raise me as his own daughter... not knowing that I had a true familywith my sister Lusenda, being one of my true family.

As I grew older, my so-called father beat me repeatedly. The abuse got so bad that one night he beat all memory of my life out of me. I ran away that night.

I ran away to what is called the "Dream City". When I arrived in Dream City I had no memory of my past. All I could remember was a bright light and water that flowed endlessly. As I made new friends and made a new life for myself, I met Lusenda.

I noticed and she noticed how we both looked very much alike. She began to wonder if I might be her long lost sister that her mother had agonized about. I asked Lusenda about her past hoping it might trigger memories of my past. She asked me if I had a scar on my upper right thigh and I said "yes". She said that only the women in her family bore such a scar. She and I concluded that I must be her long lost sister.

After she told me her story, I pondered upon it for days, hoping something might trigger my memory. Nothing... until one day I went for a walk to Harrow Glades... and there I fell into the chaos. As I was in total darkness... and all alone, struggling to get out, all of my memories came rushing back to me.

The only happiness that came from those horrible memories was finding my Sister, Lusenda, and knowing that she is my family.
