Ironies made his run through Lost Caves, trapping every bogrom and emphant that came across his path in record time, but his frustration grew as the nightmares weren't respawning fast enough for him.

As he contemplated his next move, an idea formed in his head. The Soulmaster guild could flood the Umbric Planes with chaos. He believed it would only weaken the fabric of the dream in that specific area. The guild created a device that pulls chaos from the Palisades, and rained chaos down over the entire plane. He would soon have all the bogroms and emphants he could ever want to trap.

The time and place was set; he was determined to put his plan into action. During their experiment, something went awry. The device exploded, leaving an open conduit of chaos to leak into the dream and the result was Umbric Planes becoming overrun by nightmares. Shortly after the catastrophe on Umbric, Nocven appeared, a fragment of the Heart of the City clutched in his grasp. He closed his fist, crushing the fragment as he laughed hysterically, while the dust fell to the floor.

Over the last 100 years, the dream became overgrown with foliage and lesser mares. With minimal dreamers to maintain the dreamscape, houses crumbled and portals ceased to spin. Was it the chaos that help caused this devastating effect on the city, or was Nocven solely responsible? When dreamers return, will they be able to restore the city to its former glory?

Only time will tell.
