Dream Life:

The dreamer known as Raein began his dreams a fool. His first dream he "fell in love" with a beautiful woman, known as Jade. Realizing slowly that she did not share his affection, Raein began to become wiser. To think about his actions, and their influences. Eventually, due to kindness from a dreamer known as Amara, Raein began to find his place in the Emancipators of Men.

He was eventually initiated by Sand, and fought for the house to little effect. Raein did not fight well, for his aim was wretched. But he felt and lived in a certain companionship within the house, that he had never felt before. Steadily, he grew in knowledge, and steadily still, he grew in wisdom.

At one time in his dreams, he met the one known as Adryinne, and began to fall in love with her. This was closer to real love, rather than his childish affection for Jade (the affection that faded quickly, with his joining the Emancipated). Adryinne turned out to return Raein's love, and they spent most of their time together. But like all good things, it could never last.

Raein slowly began to lose his flame for freedom--not only for his lack of aptitude in battle, but because battle was beginning to see his love hurt. Raein was headed down a dark slope, perhaps, as some have said, into a spiraling depression. He soon requested to be demoted from the house, which was granted by Sand.

Raein's days were filled with happiness for a time--but these new beasts, Echten, had appeared. They once again threatened the safety of his love, and he despaired. Their days as happy, freespirits were coming to a close, with the present danger. But Raein sought a way to protect his love.

He was approached by the avatar known as Bashir, which wished to know whom he followed. Raein spoke with Bashir, often in angry ways. Raein had a lingering distaste for Bashir, from his days of being Emancipated. But in the end, Bashir offered to protect Adryinne, and grant Raein the strength to do so as well.

Thus was Raein's dilemma. What was more important--Adryinne's safety, or her happiness? Surely she would despair for his joining with Bashir. But there seemed to be no other way to save her from the coming danger. In the end, Raein joined with Bashir, and was granted some power to defend her. Adryinne never learned of this initiation.

((Soon after this, Shades of Truth went down, and V2 sprung up. Raein was not in that version.))

Raein appeared again, in the City, after a great deal of time had passed. But he was not himself--or at the least the dreamer everyone seemed to know. He was from another Variant of the dream, one in the past of the current time. The Raein that had just barely met Amara of the Emancipated had been pulled from his variant, after activating his first shield given to him by Amara.

Many people recognized him, and the chaos began to invade his mind with names of those who his future self knew. When he saw Jaden, he knew her name instantly, but no other information was in his recollection.

Because of this fact, Adryinne, who appeared normal, despaired. Raein held no memory of her, and could barely be in the same room with her for any time. This was due to the fact that the Chaos once again pushed thoughts into the mind of Raein. He could recall the immense pain he felt when Adryinne was in pain or being attacked, although Raein did not know that this pain came from his future, just that standing in the same area as Adryinne caused him immense pain.

However, the Master Teacher Delosian relieved this, by removing the Chaos from Raein's mind.

Soon Raein read the Codii written by Intarcu Bal'mor, and sought her out. He became her second follower (I'm pretty sure...) just after Riku. He gained her trust and was first (once again, I think...) to receive a Crest of Unity, which was merely a talisman showing loyalty (it would not grant entrance to the Stronghold).

He attempted to fight back the beasts emerging from the Valley while also attaining second sphere. He also was working his way to becoming a teacher, wishing to become apprenticed by Queznay. However, his death was near.

Ra'as, who also served the cause of Unity, had a plan. He wished to burn out the beasts that lived in the Valley, though they were no longer tied to the Valley. Raein assisted in this plan, for he had not acquired the wisdom and forethought of his former future self. He did not realize that such a plan would severely damage the Valley he had come to love dearly.

The plan was carried out, and Raein smiled as he heard the satisfying howls of the beasts from within the room beyond. It was only moments later that Intarcu arrived, and realized what had come to pass. She was cold with furry, and knew that she must punish who was responsible.

19:41:10: Intarcu Bal'mor: Disciple, forgive me. But I cannot allow this to stand.

19:42:16: Intarcu Bal'mor: He is the elder disciple. It was in his authority to end this madness.

19:43:15: You Say: This is...

19:43:16: You Say: For Unity...

19:43:22: A pink evoke cone sizzles in Intarcu's hands.

19:46:09: Raein has been dreamstruck by Intarcu Bal'mor
