It is the silence before the storm. Each dreamer can feel the chaos build, each knowing, with the first dark bolt of lightning, change will roll across the City of Underlight. What will this first strike of chaos bring? The Chaos Eclipse is here!
Fearing for the citizens of Underlight, a small group of dreamers, ancient in their ways, came together deep within the chaos itself. There, the ancients linked their very souls and meditated, hoping to divine what could be expected. A grueling task it was, but they would not give up, sacrificing their lives if need be to give the dreamers warning of what they may face.
Dreamsoul poured from the ancients as they battled chaos in chaos's realm, but they would not be deterred. They had pledged their lives to the betterment of Underlight. Their lives!
The battle raged, and at the end, one lone ancient pulled herself from the chaos, with little knowledge of what they sought. As she lay, aged beyond reason from the battle, a single breath away from death, she spoke in whispers, "The arts we know, some will change, some will remain the same…new lands…maybe…"
Her ragged breathing slowed, and just as she was about to take her last breath, her eyes sprang open, "those who enter the dream mutated, with arts they should not possess, will be halted. The Chaos Eclipse is here!"
She collapsed into a soulsphere, and faded from existence, beyond the use of Restore.
