Entry 24 - Enlightened Woes

You continue to allow the Idoclesian rabble to corrupt the values and ideals of our city! You continue to allow them to freely walk around our city, unchallenged, eroding everything we have built? They poison the minds of our youths with talk of sects, cults, academies, and other nonsense. Their teachers are allowed to quest our kind and influence them with their vile lies and deceptions. It has not escaped me the fact that you have allowed some of their rabble to join your ranks.
Last evening, we caught some of their rabble within the Threshold Pits harvesting essences for unknown reasons. The Vanguard carried out its decree and expelled them from the Pits with dispatch. The Watch feigns ignorance in the matter. The rabble is preparing for something and you are allowing them to go about without question. You may have turned your back upon the City, but the Vanguard shall not!
Neither you nor the pretender pulling the strings of the Watch shall impede us in our duty to the City! Oh, and in the event you are seeking the rabble we captured in the Pits last evening - they have met their fate with the Mace of Castigation.
