Entry 29 - Crescent Crusades

Zaxon has foolishly bit off more than he bargained for with his actions. In an attempt to gain a fortress for the Vanguard, Zaxon and his men were ambushed by unlikely foes. The Arretians have returned and with unrivaled vengeance. We attempted to offer assistance, however, the Arretians proved more resourceful in their offense. One of their leaders concentrated his efforts on Zaxon and blamed him, Talberon and Xun'rok for the doomed fate of our City. It seems that the Arretians may have an alliance with the Kadatorii. One of our scouts recall their crests as those found upon the dreamers fighting alongside the Kadatorii in the Rifts against the Hota.
We need to put aside our difference and meet with dispatch. The Arretians clearly have an agenda and if they are aligning themselves with the Kadatorii - the Hota pose a much greater threat than we could ever imagine, gentlemen. Zaxon, put aside your zeal for a moment and contemplate on what will become of the Illuminated Vanguard if it has no city left to protect. Xun'rok, its your best interest to put aside your own difference and meet with us. Talberon will be present as well.
We look forward to meeting with you both very soon. We must also seek to discover what the Arretian meant with his words to Zaxon. We can no longer afford to fight among ourselves and every other threat against us.
