Hilfy

The History of Hilfy

Hilfy was a Dreamwright, though his name may not suggest a position of that stature. Known for much great research on the nature of FateSenders, and on which planes were best suited for that focus, Hilfy seemed destined to have the respect of his peers wherever he journeyed.

This would have been so, if it were not for the accidental explosions and collisions that always occurred around him. Hilfy himself was not accident prone, but it seemed as though he cast an aura about him that would instill this trait in others. It was not uncommon to walk into a laboratory, and see the equipment in ruins, Dreamers unconscious in corners, and Hilfy working happily away in the center, untouched and oblivious.

While it seemed that Hilfy was destined to become a very lonely person, through no fault of his own, interestingly enough, Dreamers still worked around him willingly. Assumedly, the reason for this was that Hilfy also granted great insight to those who survived long enough to talk to him, offering flippant and wry remarks that opened up entire new venues of research. Thus, Hilfy was welcome anywhere he visited, even if others quickly scrambled to put the most valuable equipment away.
