Master Librarian of Library of Souls before The Great Loss.

"Ages ago during the 'Golden Years' of the dream city, the threshold pits were a place of eclectic beauty. Statues filled the halls, streams and brooks covered the landscape, artisans worked their masterpieces on the walls, and knowledge and unity spread throughout. At the apex of this center was the Great Library of Souls in its current position. Each sphere hall with doors proudly open, and each room filled to the brim with "anchored" codices on the floors about every piece of information that the dream could want. In the anterooms, debates were constantly occurring over knowledge, foci, arts, anything that dreamers wished. Such was the golden age of the library with Master Renrut Nek running the whole show and a group of devote librarians following in his stead.

When the chaos came and the rifts opened up, in succession the center of each ripped straight through the library as well as the pits, causing mass destruction. The first rift almost destroyed the library leaving it in shambles. Renrut Nek was seen kneeling in the rubble trying to place the codices back on the shelves while sobbing softly(he was old people, give him a break). He was there as the second rift hit, and in his dire hope to save the library, he attempted to use his own strength to lift the library back up. He was too weak and as the rift hit he along with the bulk of the library was dragged down to the dark reaches of the pits: a place now of disease, mold, and nightmares.

Famous DreamWright for being the only FateSenders ever to develop another focus Art, namely that of Free Action. As that story is quite common, there is another, lesser known one dealing with the partition in his Study. The passable tapestry in the middle of his study was not always there, but was added after a certain event occurred. Renrut was meeting with a junior DreamSeer, who had just learned the art of Chamele. Showing off, as most DreamSeers do, he decided to impress Renrut by showing up chameled, and speaking from thin air to him. Far from amused, Renrut showed the Dreamer just how much of a bad idea surprising FateSenders is, by having him run a few laps of his Study through scare. After the hapless soul ran off, Renrut got to thinking how he could create a similar effect, though not through Chamele. After some contemplation, he ran off to a Dreamsmith friend, and asked for a large tapestry made of invisible thread on one side. Intrigued, the Dreamsmith created it for Renrut, and installed it in the partition between the Inner and Outer study. After realizing that he put it on backwards, and reversed it... Renrut found that he could see a dreamer's actions in his outer study.. from the inner, while not allowing the vice versa. Of course the surprise dulled a bit after everyone found out he or she could pass the tapestry with ease, but it seemed to amuse Renrut to no end.
