Entry 100 - Rebuilding
What had seemed like an eternity had passed. The halls were empty. The planes were barren. Most portals were still and quakes from the great Mount Illapse caused shaking underground. The lesser nightmares flourished, multiplying in unusual numbers as they consumed whatever chaos the environment had to offer.
House Calenture stood in the dark at her peak atop the land of the Evernight; overgrown with weeds and consumed by eerie silence. Though weak, her portals churned with minimal life. Breaking the eerie silence is the sound of a hammer striking metal from inside the house.
Dreamers of Light quaked from her spot on top of the mountain; like Calenture her portals attempted to spin, trying their damnedest to sputter. Howling wind spun through the façade in conjunction with the quaking. The sound of laughter filters across the façade, carried by the wind.
Sitting atop Trinity stood the Sable Moon. Oddly enough, the façade was much the same as it was when the last dreamer set foot on it; it was free of weeds, dust, and looked as though it had just been inhabited moments before. Her portals did not spin, but on the other side of those locked portals, a female leaned against one from the inside, her hands pressed upon it, as if willing it to turn.
Each of these dreamers had one hope in common. They sought to rebuild the great city, and to see dreamers return and make the dreamscape come alive once again.
