Occasionally in your dreams you will experience [[Nightmares]]. 
You will need to act quickly and summon your [[Blade (art)|focal blade]] in order to battle this horrific vile threat!
 
Here is how you do this!

How to Attack Nightmares

Occasionally in your dreams you will experience Nightmares. You will need to act quickly and summon your focal blade in order to battle this horrific vile threat!

Here is how you do this!




Step 1) Create your focal blade. In this example, you see this gatekeeper uses the Gatesmasher focal blade.
Click on the Arts tab at the top right. Locate your blade, it could be one of the following:
Gatesmasher (GateKeeper), Dreamblade (DreamSeer), Soulreaper (SoulMaster), Fateslayer (FateSender).
Once located, select it and either double click on the art, or click on the "Use" icon below the art listing window.
This will summon your blade into the Item tab.


Focal Blade: Summon


Step 2) Next, Click on the Items tab and locate your focal blade, generally at the bottom of the list.
Make sure the blade is highlighted/selected.
Now use the "CTRL" key to activate the blade.
You can now use the blade to attack Nightmares.

Step 3) While in battle, use a combination of movement strategies to avoid being hit while attacking, and defeat the nightmare.
Seek out a teacher within the dream if you are having troubles.

Don't forget to pickup the loot items from your recently defeated nightmare! It could be useful later!




Mouse actions in Viewport

  • move, turn = Hold left button
  • mouselook = Hold right button
  • pick up item = Click on item and drag into tabbed interface
  • show player name = Right click on player
